A magis day to everyone!. I am Dexter Omega D Bito-onon Jr., a grade 11 student currently studying at Ateneo de Davao University Senior Highschool (AdDUSHS) Witnessing Children getting involved in Illegal activities that can harm them, made me realize how important guidance, support, and safer Opportunities is needed in order to not stray away from the good path, It shows that poverty leads children to do this in order to survive the harsh environment they are facing. The need of the community to step in to give support and guidance before it’s too late. One Issue that continuously grows is Youth violence. children that involve themselves in fights, theft and gang activities. It's a cycle that makes the community harmful for not only the adults but also for the youth. I believe that offering support and guidance to this children can lessen more young people to be involved and have more opportunities to be lead in a better path for their future. With that youth violence can be prevented if we work together to guide, protect, and support our young people. Let us remember that the future of our community depends on how we nurture and protect our youth today.
