Opinion Essay

I felt devastated when I learned about the tragic death of a minor in her own household. It was painful to know that a young life ended in such a violent way. This made me realize how serious the issue of juvenile justice and youth violence really is.

This experience made me realize how important juvenile justice is in protecting young people and preventing such painful events. I believe that addressing youth violence requires both accountability and compassion, because many young offenders are also victims of their environment. I have seen how lack of guidance, broken families, and unsafe communities can push minors into violent situations. That is why I agree that society should strengthen juvenile justice systems, not only to punish but also to guide and protect the youth.

  1. You showed both compassion for the victim and awareness of the deeper issues that contribute to youth violence. I agree that juvenile justice should not only focus on punishment but also on guidance, protection, and giving young people a chance to change. Its important that society works together to build safer communities and provide support for minors before its too late.
